Intelligentsia is a specialty coffee pioneer, rising from humble Chicago roots to a company driven by curiosity, empowerment, and the never-ending quest for the most extraordinary coffee in the world.
The Intelligentsia team was siloed between product development, sales, marketing, social media, and web management. They were extremely active; releasing new coffees and hosting events throughout the year, but their marketing content, and products needed to feel more consistent and aligned across channels. Each launch required photography, digital promotions, and in-store materials; they needed a cohesive visual approach that could carry across every touchpoint.

Acting as an in-house design team, we were the bridge that increased ROI across all team initiatives. We had the opportunity to leverage content that was requested by one team, to serve others.
For example, we didn’t just design t-shirts for special releases or events, we leveraged the illustrations for those shirts by animating them for social posts, newsletters, and web banners to not only promote the product, but the event as well. During photoshoots we knew what needed to be made, so we composed shots for collateral with wildly different dimensions; like display ads, web banners, and social content.
